Ms. Yeoh Siang Thing is a detail-oriented transactional lawyer with over 13 years of experience advising developers, banks, and listed companies throughout the full life cycle of property acquisitions, financing, commercial and IT related contracts with a growing emphasis on advising clients in the Fintech and digital services space.
A graduate of the University of London with an LLB (Hons) in 2009, Ms. Yeoh further solidified her legal foundation by obtaining her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2010, leading to her admission as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 12th September 2011.
Starting her career at Messrs M Scully on 1st December 2011, Ms. Yeoh quickly established herself as a vital asset to the firm, eventually leading the Corporate and Conveyancing Department. Her role involved collaborating closely with Mr. Maurice Ernest Scully and Mr. Lee Kok Phong in the Litigation Department, where she expanded her legal repertoire across a broad spectrum of services.
Ms. Yeoh’s proficiency extends to conducting thorough due diligence exercises and adeptly navigating various fields of contract disputes, estate administration, and divorce matters. Her promotion to Partner in 2nd July 2018 stands as a testament to her exceptional skills, dedication, and contributions to Messrs M Scully over 12 years.
Ms. Yeoh’s experience includes advising technology and Fintech companies on regulatory-compliant contract structures, drafting complex IT service, licensing, cloud, and platform agreements, and supporting banks and digital service providers on documentation involving commercial, conventional and Islamic banking instruments. Her ability to bridge legal and operational needs makes her a trusted advisor for clients navigating Malaysia’s evolving digital regulatory landscape.

Ms. Yeoh has advised and acted in a wide array of high-value transactions, including:
- Structuring and completing Trade Finance-i facilities valued at RM40 million for OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad;
- Handling dual-currency loan documentation involving RM10 million and USD11.3 million for United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd;
- Representing housing developers in preparing end-to-end documentation for project developments, including sale and purchase agreements, loan documentation (both conventional and Islamic), and compliance matters;
- Drafting, reviewing, and advising on corporate agreements, including various service agreements and licensing agreements for public listed companies;
- Advising technology-integrated companies and drafting IT services and procurement agreements involving transaction values up to RM5 million, ensuring alignment with commercial and regulatory requirements; and
- Representing a purchaser in the acquisition of an industrial factory for a deal valued at RM21,050,000.00.
