Chew Chee Hui

Mr. Chew Chee Hui is a Senior Legal Associate in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution practice, where he specialises in intellectual property disputes, corporate and commercial litigation, and insolvency disputes. He is also well-versed in matters involving fraud and asset recovery, often navigating the intersection of civil litigation, insolvency processes, and law enforcement action.

He has acted for a wide range of clients, including developers in housing development disputes under the Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Act 1966, as well as in construction disputes involving delay claims, defects, and adjudication proceedings under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA). His practice also includes shareholder disputes, professional negligence claims, and the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. Drawing on his experience as a litigation lawyer in Kuala Lumpur, Chee Hui takes a practical and solutions-oriented approach to help clients navigate complex legal challenges across various sectors.He holds an LL.B (Hons) and an LL.M in Intellectual Property Law from Cardiff University. He was called to the Bar of England & Wales (Middle Temple) in 2018 and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019.

Prior to joining the Firm, he read in the chambers of Messrs. Wong & Partners and practised as a litigation associate at Messrs. Gary Teh & Ngiam.
